Uptempo Basketball League
Keep the energy up this February with Uptempo’s Keiki Basketball League! Our league is all about fun, teamwork, and skill-building — perfect for players who love the game or want to learn it.

Players are placed on teams for the season, practicing and competing together to build real team chemistry. Our Uptempo Coaching Staff leads every practice and game, giving players hands-on coaching and expert guidance every step of the way.
Our smaller, modified courts help players develop sharper skills, better footwork, and more confidence — preparing them for bigger competition in the future.
Divisions
Kindergarten & 1st Grade Division
Beginner’s League introduces young players to basketball through fun, age-appropriate games. Players will learn basic rules, game structure, and fundamental skills while building confidence and a love for the sport.
2nd & 3rd Grade Division
This division continues skill development from the Beginner’s League with more live game experience. Coaches focus on improving dribbling, understanding rules, and correcting common violations, while helping every player build a strong foundation—regardless of skill level.
11U Division
Perfect for players ready to level up. Teams are formed through a draft-style format to ensure balanced, competitive games. This division focuses on skill development, teamwork, and confidence while helping players build a strong foundation and love for the game. Additional training is recommended for newer players.
Intermediate Division 13U
Built for players who want more game action. This division emphasizes live play, creativity, and confidence with plenty of court time to compete, freelance, and sharpen skills in real game situations—all in a competitive, supportive environment.

FOR KEIKI AGES 5 TO 13!
UPTEMPO KEIKI LEAGUE (AGES 5-9 YEAR OLDS: KINDERGARTEN TO 3RD GRADE LEVEL - DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE)
Uptempo's Keiki League offers a truly unique and engaging experience for players, where they are placed on a team for the season and build camaraderie through practice and competition. Each player has the opportunity to train and play alongside their teammates, creating a strong sense of teamwork and chemistry.
What sets our league apart is the hands-on coaching provided by the Uptempo Coaching Staff, who guide players during both practices and games. This ensures that each player receives expert guidance and support throughout the season, helping them improve their skills and understanding of the game.
Additionally, our facility's smaller, modified court plays a crucial role in the development of our players. The smaller space helps them refine their skills, build confidence, and enhance their agility, making them better prepared for the transition to larger courts when it’s time to compete in other league play. The unique setup at Uptempo fosters not only skill development but also a strong team dynamic, creating an environment where players can grow and succeed both individually and as part of a cohesive unit.
Kindergarten and 1st Grade Division
The goal of our Beginner’s League is to introduce and educate players who are new to the game of basketball. Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade 3v3 League provides young students with the opportunity to engage in live game action alongside their peers. The primary focus will be on helping them develop a basic understanding of the rules and structure of the game, fostering both skill development and a love for the sport.
2nd and 3rd Grade Division
This division serves as a continuation program from our Beginner’s League, offering players the opportunity to further develop their skills. Players can join this league based on their grade level or for additional practice in live game situations and experience. Coaches will focus on refining dribbling techniques and correcting common basketball violations at this age. Our goal for this division is to promote the development and improvement of every player, regardless of skill level, while ensuring they grasp the fundamental skills necessary to build a strong foundation for their ongoing basketball journey.
4th and 5th Grade Division League
(Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced Level Divisions)
This division serves as a continuation program from our 2nd and 3rd Grade League, providing students with the opportunity to advance based on age or to challenge themselves by moving into a higher division. Teams will be formed through a draft-style format to ensure fair and competitive games.
For players with little to no experience, or minimal play experience, we highly recommend purchasing additional training sessions. These extra sessions will help your player develop fundamental skills and gain a better understanding of the game through focused group training.
Our goal for this division is to foster skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while ensuring that every player is challenged to grow at their own pace. We aim to build a strong foundation for future basketball success and encourage a love for the game.
Intermediate Division League (6th-8th Graders)
Our Intermediate Division is designed to provide players with the perfect balance of game experience and individual development. This league gives players the opportunity to gain more game reps and live action while still having the freedom to freelance and showcase their unique style of play. It’s a space for players to refine their skills, test new strategies, and build confidence in a competitive, yet supportive environment.
With a focus on gameplay over drills, our league offers plenty of court time, so players can get comfortable with in-game situations and improve their decision-making. Whether you're looking to refine your offensive moves or sharpen your defensive instincts, this league provides the ideal setting to play your game.
