At Uptempo Maui, we are proud to host official training events for Fil-Am Nation Select Hawai‘i, providing local athletes with direct access to elite-level development right here on Maui.

These trainings are led by Coach Donnie Dadiz, Hawai‘i Director for Fil-Am Nation Select. Training under Coach Donnie means learning from someone who understands both the standard and the pathway. As Director, he evaluates talent, prepares athletes for combines, and helps identify players who are ready to represent Hawai‘i on a global stage. Athletes aren’t just getting reps — they’re getting intentional training aligned with the Fil-Nation standard.

Train at a fast-paced, high-intensity level focused on advanced skill development — ball handling, scoring moves, decision-making, and live game situations. Players will be challenged alongside other skilled Fil-Am athletes from Maui in a competitive, supportive environment that pushes growth and builds confidence.

Consistency is key to development and visibility.

Designed for players with prior competitive experience, our current high school special will prepare athletes for our upcoming combine and provides the opportunity to earn an invitation to the Fil-Nation Select Global Summit 2026.

Outer island athletes are also welcome to join if they are on Maui during training dates. We encourage players from across Hawai‘i to take advantage of this opportunity to train, compete, and be evaluated at a high level.
