LEAGUE INFORMATION
KEIKI LEAGUE RED DIVISION
This season, we’re continuing to gear more towards better supporting the development of all our young athletes in this age group. Rather than assigning players to fixed teams for the entire season, all games will follow a draft-style format. Players will be placed on different teams each week, giving them the opportunity to play with and against a variety of teammates.
This flexible format will allow us to:
• Create even and competitive matchups each week
• Ensure all players are getting balanced playing opportunities
• Encourage teamwork and adaptability
In addition, this season we’ll be putting a stronger emphasis on learning the rules of the game. We’ll be calling fouls, travels, and double dribbles more consistently to help the kids better understand and adjust to the flow of real gameplay. This will be a great learning opportunity as they continue to build their fundamentals. Our goal is to create a fun, positive, and growth-focused environment where every player can thrive.
